USA Prayer Wall

USA PRAYER WALL: 50 STATES PRAYING ACROSS AMERICA TOGETHER

Let’s pray believing that as we unite in prayer across America our prayers will be powerfully used to dispel the dark forces that have threatened our families, our prosperity and the freedoms we cherish. Let’s start praying now for a million believers who will pray for and witnessing to a million. Let’s celebrate the 250th anniversary of our great country with a million hearing and responding to the good news of Jesus.

DR. P. DOUGLAS SMALL’S vision of a million praying for a million is no small task and will require a multi-organizational, multi-denominational effort to unite believers and congregations in simultaneous prayer and witness.

Intercessors and prayer warriors, let’s do our part with fifty hours a week of prayer. It sounds like a lot but if each state prays just one hour a week, it can be done quite easily. We’re asking our dear Father for one prayer team in each of the 50 states praying just one hour a week for revival and awakening in America and for the specific goal of one million believers praying for one million to come to saving faith in Jesus.

How does Prayer at the Heart’s USA prayer wall work? Each weekday, Monday—Friday, is divided into one hour timeblocks 7 am—7 pm. The 50 states naturally fall into 5 regions of about 10 states each according to the usual time zone for each state. One day of the week is set aside for each region:

Monday, PACIFIC REGION—(Pacific Time Zone) Alaska & Hawaii;
Tuesday, MOUNTAIN REGION—Mountain Time Zone;
Wednesday, CENTRAL REGION—(Central Time Zone);
Thursday, EASTERN REGION—(Eastern Time Zone);
Friday, NEW ENGLAND—(Eastern Time Zone.)

Prayer facilitators in each state select one hour for weekly prayer on the day of the week reserved for that time zone. For example, Minnesota, in the Central region, prays on Wednesday @ 10am CT. Everyone uses the same conference call number. Anyone in the country–or the world–can join any prayer meeting any day. See more info below.

Dear Watchmen on the Wall,

GOD, YOU ARE SO AWESOME! Have you realized how amazing this season really is? First, we had the rededication of America to God. Now we have a month long invasion of soccer fans from around the world. They are falling in love with America—the variety of cultures, the food, the amazing scenery, the friendly people, even the big box stores. Many of them will attend the 250th birthday celebration.  They’ll be blown away!

 And, Christians are on hand to pray for them and give them tracts and pocket gospels of John. Now more than ever, the world is here open, positive, ready. Such a ripe harvest. Let’s pray this week for salvations at every World Cup event going on in our cities. Let’s pray for ministry opportunities on July 4th. Pray for the evangelists, the prayer ministers, those handing out literature. Many of our guests are from countries where the Bible is illegal. The one they receive here will be the only Gospel they have ever had.

May God bless your prayers this week,

DEVOTIONAL: WE SPEAK JESUS

Do you tear up a little like I do whenever you hear the contemporary song I Speak Jesus? It voices the cry of our hearts over our families and our nation. Read a few of the words below and I think you will agree speaking Jesus into our world is great spiritual warfare. POWER! HEALING! LIFE! BREAK STRONGHOLDS! SHINE THROUGH AND BURN THE DARK! SHALOM! YOUR NAME BRINGS SHALOM!

 I Speak Jesus
Charity Gayle, Steven Musso, Christa Gifford.

I just want to speak the name of Jesus
Over every heart and every mind
I know there is peace within your presence.
 I speak Jesus

Your name is power.
Your name is healing.
Your name is life
Break every stronghold
Shine through the shadows
Burn like a fire.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. THE SAVING POWER OF THE NAME OF JESUS

“There is no one else who has the power to save us, for there is only one name to whom God has given authority by which we must experience salvation: the name of Jesus.”   Acts 4:12 TPT

Speak the powerful name of Jesus over those you are praying for who have yet to encounter Him.

2. THE NAME OF JESUS IS ABOVE EVERY NAME

“…God highly exalted him, and gave unto him the name which is above every name; that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things on earth and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”  Philippians 2:9-11 ASV

Speak the exalted name of Jesus over your mayor and others with power and influence in your community.

3. JESUS—GREATEST OF ALL TIME!

“…He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.” Ephesians 1:20-21 NKJV

Speak the authoritative name of Jesus over and above all cults, false religions and philosophies. Speak Jesus over strongholds of sin in your community.

4. ASK IN THE NAME OF JESUS

“…whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”  John 14:13-14 NKJV

 Ask the Father, in Jesus name, for your life to be useful to expanding His kingdom on Earth.

5. BELIEVERS OVERPOWER EVIL IN HIS NAME

“…In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” Mark 16:17-18 NIV

Be bold this week. If someone you know is sick, lay hands on them and pray in Jesus name. Pray as the Holy Spirit directs. Pray for their healing in Jesus’ name.

DECREES:

 Thank you Father that you are still working your will for the world today. Jesus Christ said we are to command or declare God’s will in the situations we face. We partner with you Jesus as your ambassadors, releasing your words in order to transform chaos into order and bring light to the darkness. Your Word describes what those plans include and we decree your will and heart in Jesus’ name with bold confidence.

Here are a few decrees to get you started Speaking “Jesus”:

We decree that God is still working bringing order into the chaos, and light into the darkness of our day. In the name of Jesus we declare the release of Your Kingdom authority, and the manifestation of Your will.

In Jesus’ name we know Your will is that no one dies in a spiritually lost condition;

We speak “Jesus” over the great worldwide harvest planned in alignment with Your will.

We speak “Jesus” as we call forth a revival of such proportions that a billion or more people will come to You.

In Jesus’ name we call forth a youth revival in America and around the world that will result in millions of young people coming to Christ.

Father, the nations of Earth belong to You, and you promised them to Jesus.

We decree in Jesus’ name the salvation and restoration of America, including a transformed government.

We speak “Jesus” as we decree the breaking of the “prince of Persia’s” hold in the Middle East.

In Jesus’ name we decree the salvation of Israel.

Jesus, you are building your mighty church that the plans of hell cannot overcome;

We call forth in Jesus’ name the fire of Holy Spirit and renewed passion into America’s churches.

Father, we declare these things in Jesus’ name and authority alone, acknowledging that our authority is only through Him, and that His will is what You honor. Of Him, to Him, and through Him are all things. We honor Jesus in all we do. Amen.

“Whenever God determines to do a great work, He first sets His people to pray” (C. Spurgeon). This reliable principle begs the question: “How does God mobilize his people to heartfelt prayer?” Most importantly, how does God move Christian leaders who shepherd His church to unite in fervent, persistent, biblically focused prayer for the fulfillment of His purposes? By two things mainly: 1) distress over the degradation of the church and the surrounding culture and 2) hope that God will pour out His Spirit on his church and fill it with His fulness until it overflows with transformative impact on society. Many believers are distressed at the current state of things. At the same time, there is much reason to hope for God’s divine intervention in response to passionate, biblically guided prayer.

Believers across America now mourn the debility of the church; its vitality is faltering, its impact fading, its mission neglected, and its devotion to God being undercut by love for this world. Right now we are enduring the largest and fastest religious shift in American history. Its scope is greater than every previous spiritual awakening in our history combined, only in the opposite direction. Christians are being confronted by “spiritual forces of evil” (Eph. 6:12) operating from the heavenly realms that boldly infiltrate every aspect of society, even the church. These dark powers aim to 1) frustrate God’s purpose to bless all peoples on earth through Christ with countless benefits, including righteousness, peace, joy, and justice, and 2)
inflict endless varieties of misery on everyone. When spiritual decline and cultural decay prevail, God’s people rise up to seek the Lord in prayer as the fountain of every blessing, asking him to fill the earth with his glory, pour out His Holy Spirit, inspire his church, and deliver people and cultures from innumerable troubles. Now is the time to pray with desperation for spiritual and cultural renewal, for divine intervention, for the fulfillment of God’s purposes for his church and his creation in Northeast Ohio.

Christian leaders, especially pastors, have a heightened responsibility to press into God with prayer for the church. Biblical precedent shows that gathering church leaders together to engage in heartfelt prayer for the welfare of their community often initiates widespread spiritual and social renewal both in church and society (2 Chron. 7:13-14; 15:8-10; 34:29-32). New Testament accounts show that when Christian leaders unite in prayer, often in response to social and/or spiritual crises, spiritual awakening and gospel advance follow (Acts 1:13-14; 2:1-4; 4:23-31; 13:1-3).

Jesus himself instills expectation of an outpouring of God’s Spirit in response to prayer with this promise: “If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” (Luke 11:13). Our Father in heaven is especially ready to pour out upon us the blessing we most need and long for, the very Spirit of God who imparts divine life, wisdom, and virtue.

With all this in mind, now is the time for Christian leaders across Northeast Ohio to come together to seek the Lord with biblically grounded, Christ-directed, wholehearted prayer for a God-given spiritual awakening. The trumpet of God is blaring! He is calling us to pray! Join Christian leaders from across our region to humble ourselves, seek the Lord’s face, and be willing to respond through His intervening grace to any changes He calls us to make! (Psalm 110:3)

The Gathering is an extension of the nationwide PATH (Prayer at the Heart) initiative piloted recently in Northeast Ohio. Put The Gathering on your calendar: Sunday, September 24, 6 pm, Calvary Chapel of Cleveland, 709 Brook Park Road, Brooklyn Heights, OH.
